This year, I am particularly thankful for all the participants on CCD, and their willingness to be honest in the discussions of some of their most personal thoughts and beliefs. Kudos to all of you for commenting, posting and debating! I think we need more debate in this world. We need more debate, more argument, more discussion, more questions, more doubt and more willingness to really engage eachother with honesty. I applaud you for joining in, and I hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving Day, if you celebrated.

Hope you had a good one. We had Thanksgiving in October here in Canada.
Do you really think we need more discussion? I think what we need is to hear each other in silence, and let others’ ideas percolate. We need to be more open minded and more respectful I think.
But, like with everything else, we are probably both half-right, and our halfs make the whole true.

Hey Ben! I haven’t forgotten about your guest post request… the students have been keeping me pretty busy. I’ll have time to sit down and write it over the winter break.
