ccdguy…..do you find it ironic that CCD is also the official acronym for Catholic Christian Dogma.

Haha! good to know! Yes, i do find that ironic. I guess we’re trying to eliminate dogma & dogmatic acronyms as well. Maybe that will help drive some interesting comments to the blog.

Dogma of the Day

When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth, the full moon became like blood, and the stars of the sky fell to the earth as the fig tree sheds its winter fruit when shaken by a gale. The sky vanished like a scroll that is being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place. An Open Invitation

If anyone would like to write a guest post, I'd be eager to have you do so. We've already had a couple and I think the more the merrier, in this case. Right? What kind of posts would I like to see? 1. Posts that cover a specific religous topic, book, or movie 2. Posts that tell a personal story of escaping your former faith, or a personal story about your current faith structure. 3. Posts that make a specfic argument about God, and why you believe, or do not believe. 4. Posts that cover anything about skepticism, doubt, philosophy or science. 5. Posts that discuss a political issue tied to either side of the Separation of Church & State debate. Who would I like to hear from? Anyone, but particularly ministers, priests, rabbis and monks. Anyone in a position of authority in a religion. I'd like to have men/women of the cloth join the debate as much as possible. So if you're out there, and you're a preacher, then let's hear your thoughts on CCD. So far, your silence has been deafening.
